Updates To Our
Colour Service Pricing
Effective August 1, 2026.
Transparent, Fair and Consistent Colour Pricing
At Fifteen Twelve, we use SalonScale® to accurately measure the colour product used during each appointment. A standard amount of colour product is included in every colour service, while any additional product used beyond that amount is charged based on the actual quantity required.
For the majority of our colour guests, these updates will not result in any additional colour product charges
These updates are designed to keep our pricing transparent, ensure guests only pay for the colour product their service requires, and create a more consistent pricing structure across our team.

Will This Affect My Appointment?
For most guests, the answer is no.
The included colour product amount covers the majority of appointments.
Additional product charges are most likely to apply when significantly more colour is required due to factors such as:
- Hair length
- Hair density
- Grey coverage
- Colour corrections or specialty formulas
- Multiple bowls of colour needed to complete the service
If additional colour product is required during your appointment, it will continue to be measured accurately using SalonScale.
What Isn't Changing?
Although we’re refining our pricing structure, several things remain exactly the same:
- We will continue using SalonScale to accurately measure colour product during every appointment.
- A standard amount of colour product is still included in your service.
- Lightening services are not affected by these updates.
- Your stylist will continue recommending only the colour necessary to achieve your desired result.
- Our commitment to transparency, quality products, and exceptional service remains unchanged.
Why Are We Making These Updates?
These updates help us maintain a pricing structure that is fair, transparent, and consistent for every guest.
Fairness
Rather than increasing the base service price for every guest, additional product charges only apply when significantly more colour is required.Transparency
SalonScale digitally measures the colour product used during your appointment, so any additional charges are based on actual usage rather than estimates.Consistency
Standardizing pricing across stylist experience levels makes our menu easier to understand and creates a more consistent booking experience.Frequently Asked Questions

In many cases, yes. While the exact amount of colour product isn’t known until your service is complete, your stylist can usually provide an estimate if they expect your appointment will require significantly more product than the amount included.
For root retouch services, we categorize root length by how long it has been since your last root retouch.
- Short: 5 weeks or less
- Medium: 6-10 weeks
- Long: 11-16 weeks
- Extra Long: Over 16 weeks
For other colour services that vary based on the overall length of the hair, we use the following guidelines:
- Short: Above Chin Length
- Medium: Chin to Collarbone Length
- Long: Collarbone to Mid-Back
- Extra Long: Below Mid-Back
